Radio Merseyside

we have a weekly feature on drive called 'Life Begins', which includes stories of how people have overcome difficult times in their lives, and gone on to pursue new interests or careers.

The feature goes out on Mondays at 6:50pm, and I was wondering if Gordon would be willing to take part this coming Monday (12th). This would involve him coming into the studio to talk to Claire about living with Parkinson's, his poetry, and how his latest work will hopefully raise money for charity.

OUR DAY OUT

Just thought I would mention that Sally and my good self went to see OUR DAY OUT at the Royal Court the other day what a great show good music and all the actors young and old gave the best show of it's kind I have seen for a long time.

Speaking of shows Janet from our library has secured a good deal on tickets to The Empire for some shows check out our newsletter for details which should be winging it's way to you soon

A quick reminder to one and all that the Annual Report will take place this Wednesday and watch out for the book that has ben driving Gordon and me mad but a last we are nearly there as they say it will be printed tomorrow Sunday. So if you have some loose change in your pocket that adds up to £3.00 bring it and yourself along to witness the book and performance from Gordon on the day and their will be food so that should make sure we all turn up
